Mariano Lozano naci� en Almer�a (Espa�a) all� por mediados de los 60. Felizmente casado con una maravillosa mujer, sin hijos, vive actualmente en Seattle tras desarrollar casi toda su carrera profesional en Madrid como agente inmobiliario. Le gusta leer y navegar por Internet aunque le podr�s identificar f�cilmente en las calles y senderos del Eastside mientras practica su deporte favorito: la marcha atl�tica. Tambi�n le encanta viajar, habiendo recorrido hasta el momento m�s de 40 pa�ses por todo el mundo y m�s de la mitad de los estados de EE. UU., lo cual le ha aportado una amplia perspectiva sobre las diferencias culturales.
Una oportunidad de trabajo le abri� la posibilidad de trasladarse a Estados Unidos. Inmediatamente los mitos sobre este pa�s fueron cayendo como las fichas de un domin� y fue en ese momento cuando decidi� compartir su experiencia y dar a conocer entre sus compatriotas ese pa�s tan cercano culturalmente pero a la vez tan lleno de t�picos que es Estados Unidos.

Highly recommended and very usefully book.

Very good book to get a glimpse of life in the U.S. I bought it a year ago, I currently live in the U.S. and has helped me to be clear about some aspects of the life and customs of this country.
Highly recommended and the only reliable material available in Spanish.

The book contains most, if not all of the indispensable stuff a Spaniard (or pretty much anyone) should know when considering relocating to the US. It will surely save you a lot of trouble! :)

What the book title says

The book is precisely a manual for having the move to the US to be a right move. It gives a lot of good advice, structured and organized. It tells you what you need to do first and suggest the next moves. I have not seen anything similar to be able to compare but I think it is a good guide. I feel it could go a bit further and that the views presented are from a small group probably living in the same area. Some generalizations cannot be easily made in such a large and diverse country but let's remember that the author is not a professional in the field and most of the contents is based in own or close experiences
