Restful reading

This isn't the kind of book that I sit and read all at once, but it's been great for picking up (on my iPad) and reading a chapter or two at a time. For such an easy read, it has some very deep and enlightening thoughts; the kind that you say "surely I already knew that" and quickly become part of your assumptions as you read the Bible in a better context. Good book!

Enter the Rest is a good book to read while also reading and studying the book of Hebrews in the Bible. It clarifies and enlarges on the Jewish background of the book of Hebrews. This is helpful to a Gentile mind such as mine. I enjoyed reading it.
